The little prince

“The little prince” tells the story of a pilot stranded in the desert fixing his airplane, until one day he meets a little boy. Antoine De Saint-Exupéry’s “The Little Prince” is an interesting story full off life lessons that tells the tale of a little boy who leaves the safety of his own tiny planet to travel the universe, learning the complexity of adult behavior through a series of unexpected encounters. The story highlights how most grown-ups miss out on the simple things in life, such as friendship, love and the beauty of the world because they are too occupied with gaining wealth and power. They are tricked into believing that figures or having money is important, but their life has no meaning.

The dark side of the light chasers

Carl Jung once said that the shadow "is the person you would rather not be." But even if you choose to hide your dark side, it will still cast a shadow, according to author Debbie Ford.

Shadow work is completely opposite to logic and yet at the same time, as you put the pieces together, it makes amazing sense. In this book you open up to more than the possibility that as a human being on earth on a journey, the character traits you do not associate with yourself are exactly the character traits you have and that you have somehow hidden from yourself. Through the stories and exercises in “The Dark Side of the Light Chasers”, Debbie Ford shows us not only how to recognize our hidden emotions, but also how to find the gifts they offer us.
